As the draft order is officially starting to take form, I think these teams are better off finding a new QB1 this offseason. The teams are listed in alphabetical order.
Now
- Chicago
- Are they still waiting around and calling Mitch Trubisky projectable? After passing on DeShaun Watson and Patrick Mahomes, really?
- Detroit
- It has been reported that Matthew Stafford and the Lions are parting ways. They were added to the list strictly due to NFL Network's Tom Pelissero report.
- Houston
- It has been reported that DeShaun Watson requested a trade
- Indianapolis (Update: IND acquired Carson Wentz from PHI; IND is still on the list)
- Phillip Rivers announced his retirement, will they grab someone to bridge to Jacob Eason? Will Jacoby Brissett bridge to Eason? Is Eason someone worth bridging to? Will they give it a shot with Brissett again?
- Jacksonville
- I like Minshew, I think he can be starting QB in the right situation, but they have an amazing opportunity to select Trevor Lawerence after clinching the #1 pick in the draft.
- Los Angeles (N) (Update: LAR listened to me (lol) and aquired Matt Stafford)
- Rams HC Sean McVay controls and manages Goff so much and he still is very inconsistent. Why not micromanage a better QB.
I’m going to try to sum up Jared Goff’s season in one tweet.

- 13 interceptions (3rd-most)
- 6.6 average intended air yards (4th-lowest)
A lot of INTs + throwing mostly short passes = not good - New England
- Cam Newton had a 1:2 TD:INT ratio entering Week 17 against the two-win New Jersey Jets and HC Bill Belichick didn't even give Jarrett Stidham a start when Newton had the rona.
- New York (A)
- Darnold is in an awful situation and deserves a fresh start elsewhere. At the same time, though, he has struggled a lot and I don't think he will help the Jets turn it around.
- New York (N)
- Daniel Jones was never the answer. Not sure what they saw in him. I realize he has had a depleted squad around him, but give Joe Judge a shot with his own guy.
- Pittsburgh
- Big Ben's arm and body aren't there anymore, which is ok, he's old. Not everyone is Drew Brees and Tom Brady.
- Tennessee
- Titans HC Mike Vrabel is a great coach that built a great team. Why is he letting Ryan Tannehill, who hasn't done a bad job, hold him back. There are other options to take Tennessee to the next level and win some games that Henry doesn't dominate.
Soon
- Atlanta
- Age
- Carolina
- Not sure about this one, I really believe in Teddy Bridgewater, we'll see how he does if he's given a shot next year. He's had a tough career after a great college career and a hot start as a young player before his injuries.
- Denver
- A lot of people think the Broncos should move on from Lock but I'm not ready to say that yet. While saying that, I also acknowledge a short leash is probably the best idea for the franchise. Hate to see Lock fall into the Elway QB Curse which ABSOLUTELY exists.
- Las Vegas
- Gruden has to change something, if a guy becomes available who's better than Carr, he should pounce.
- Miami
- Tua should be given a chance, but if DESHAUN WATSON becomes available, or another guy that's already ready to win with the group they have in South Florida, teams only have so fine a window, if they even ever get a window
- New Orleans
- Will they stick with Taysom Hill or Jameis Winston when Drew Brees retires?
- New Orleans will be moved to the tier at the top when Brees announces retirement
- Philadelphia (Update: With Wentz gone, Hurts being PHI QB1 removes PHI from this list)
- I like Jalen Hurts, but I pulled for him almost all season, but I don't think he will be given a fair chance and if they go back to Carson Wentz, well we already saw how that story goes.
- Washington
- If Alex Smith isn't the answer next year, they need a change this offseason. Taylor Heinicke deserves every shot at the job, though.
