It's almost time for the Super Bowl, and if you're like a lot of people, you're probably thinking "how can I make money off this." Gambling (Call 1-800-GAMBLER if you have gambling problems) is the obvious answer to that question, but picking the winner can be a daunting task in a game as competitive as this one, so it's time to dive into the amazing world of Super Bowl prop bets.
The Super Bowl features all the same standard props you can find in any game (first touchdown, yards, over/under, etc), but where it stands out is the unique props (Gatorade color, national anthem over/under, etc). These type of bets will be your Super Bowl bread and butter, and as a personal favor , I'm going to give you 5 bets that are GUARANTEED (*not actually guaranteed*) to make you a profit!
BET 1:
Tom Brady to throw an interception (-200)
Brady has thrown 38 picks in 44 career playoff games and threw 2 vs the Chiefs earlier this year. Not a bad bet that he'll throw at least one this weekend, and although the payout isn't great, it'll get the job done. This isn't a "fun" prop but it's a sure thing and I'll take any chance I can get to bet against Brady.
BET 2:
Coin Toss Heads (-105) PARLAY with Coin toss winner to lose the game (+280)
5 out of the last 7 Super Bowl coin tosses have been tails. Since coin tosses are 50/50, it must be due for heads.
In the past 6 years, not a single coin toss winner has won the Super Bowl. Also in every single Super Bowl Tom Brady has been in, the coin toss winner has lost. If this isn't a lock I don't know what is.
BET 3:
Longest accepted penalty over 19.5 yards (-110)
There will be a long pass interference in this game, it's become Tom Brady's specialty. Even if Brady fails to get a long penalty, with how often Mahomes will be throwing deep there could be one that way as well.
BET 4:
National anthem over 1:59 (-145)
The rehearsal for the national anthem was leaked at 2:16. There's no shot of a 16-second change between rehearsal and real-time, it's going over, lock it in.
BET 5:
Gatorade Color: Red (+165)
Both teams have red as their main color. Do I really have to explain this one?
So there you have it. 5 sure locks. The secrets to free money. It's like I went back in time and stole the sports almanac for you. You can even parlay them if you want to, a parlay of these all these bets would get almost 500 out of 20 bucks. Buy yourself something nice.
